A: According to the Pilot Study carried out in 2006 this make vehicle was found to be satisfactorily compatible.


Q: Can my 2005 Toyota Passo use E10 if I only use 90 Octane?
A: You may check with the dealer or user manual you are advised however, to continue using such fuel

Q: Can my 2003 Nissan station wagon use E10?
A: E10 can be used in the vehicle.

Q: If I start using E10 can I switch back to 87 gasoline if E10 is not available in gas station?
A: Yes. You can top up with regular octane.

Q: How much cheaper is ethanol?
A: The price difference is not significant at this point. It stands at $2 on every litre from Petrojam refinery.

Q: Does ethanol burn out faster than regular 87?
A: No, but you can also check with Petrojam Ethanol for more technical information.

Q: How is the water content of ethanol controlled when combustion takes place? Is the quality of gasoline high, is ethanol used pure?
A: According to literature reviewed the low per cent of ethanol and the vapourising quality does not call for concern in this area, only for "sensitive vehicles.” The gasoline quality is high and yes the ethanol is pure.

Q: How does ethanol affect gas mileage?
A: Performance varies from car to car depending on the condition of your car and other variables but if all conditions are at an optimum you will see improved performance of the car with the use of E10.

Q: How do I know if water is in my E10 and what do I do if this occurs? Does the gas station give me free gas in return?
A: If you suspect that gas is bad report it to the ministry of energy and include the gas station that E10 was bought.
